The Tribune Chronicle of Warren Ohio on July 18 indicated that Casey Anthony’s uncle and aunt Kathy and Chuck Eddy are residents of Canfield, not Columbus. That mention was listed in an engagement notice published in the local news for the August wedding of Shannon Christine Sears and Charles Clifford Eddy III. George and Cindy Anthony were also married in Ohio.
The Anthony family also has connections to Austintown and Youngstown. Both cities house dealerships own by the Eddy family (Austintown Chrysler DodgeJeep, and Bob and Eddy Chrysler Jeep Fiat of Youngstown).
Jose Baez is reportedly not with Casey Anthony. Cheney Mason’s office was used as the means to switch vehicles for Anthony this morning. After her release from jail, she was taken in an SUV to Mason’s office. The vehicle entered his building but didn’t leave. Local news had anticipated that Anthony would depart from Orlando Executive Airport. Shortly thereafter, the plane, chartered from Columbus, took flight and headed back to Ohio.
